Meat the Pitmaster, Brewer and Farmer Red Gum BBQ

Get to know the pitmaster, brewer and the farmer in a collaboration of the crafts. Celebrating the great partnership of barbecue, beer and ethically sourced, sustainable produce.

Hosted by Red Gum BBQ Pitmaster Martin Goffin, joined by Head Brewer of Dainton Brewing, and Adam North, ethical and sustainable meat expert.

We’ll talk meat and why sustainability matters. Where do we get it from, how do we smoke it and why does it taste so good? Understand the basics of the cuts, learn the language of the butcher the various ways to trim, rubs, sauces and the rest.

Understand smokers, wood, temperatures and times and learn what you can do to make truly authentic Southern-style barbecue with whatever you’ve got.

Be guided through a barbecue and beer flight, with a menu designed to excite the senses. Guests will be equipped with the confidence to perfectly pair their craft beer and barbecue menu at home as well as leaving with the knowledge to source sustainable produce and barbecue with passion. Plus, a southern-style gift box for every guest.
